Good neighbor restoration awardDetermined by: RNR's Executive Committee
Richmond Neighborhood Restoration awards the Good Neighbor Restoration Award to the owner(s) who follows the highest standards of restoration and renovation in transforming a significant historic building, with positive impact on the neighborhood or community. Criteria: This award recognizes the owner of a significant historic structure that has been transformed through a complete restoration, adhering to the highest standards in method, materials, and design. The nominee may be an individual, corporation or partnership, nonprofit organization, or government entity. The restoration must have been completed with the past two (2) years, and the structure must be in active use for its original purpose or adapted for a new role Projects are critiqued on the following:
Applications are open for the entire month of September and should be completed no later than September 30th. The winner will be contacted by October 31, 2024. |
Project contractor awardDecided by: RNR Project's Committee/Executive Director
This award is presented at the formal open house at the completion of each project. This contractor award recognizes a contractor who went above and beyond for the organization's most recent project. The award recognizes quality work, investment and overall experience during the project. Previous Winners:

Project volunteer awardDecided by: Project Volunteers
This award is presented at the Volunteer Reception after each project. This volunteer award recognizes a volunteer who went above and beyond for the organization's mission during the most recent project. The award recognizes determination, grit, and overall experience during the project. This award is a nomination form from all volunteers that participated in the house at some point during the restoration work. Previous Winners:
