Washington Dulin home (built 1876)
The Washington Dulin Home (1876), located at 215 N. 12th Street is RNR's next residential project!
The home was built by the Dulin Family, from Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Dulin was a lumber merchant, which explains the beautiful woodwork throughout the house. The Italianate home includes 3 bedrooms and over 3400 square feet. The home has served many different roles in it's lifetime, including a socialites home that hosted lavish parties and in the 1970's was Richmond's receiving home for orphaned children. The restoration efforts will include a complete overhaul of the mechanical work in the house which includes: 2 new HVAC units, remove of the knob and tube electric work and replacing with modern electrical work, new plumbing, a new kitchen, remodeled bathrooms and exterior work. Expected completion date: Summer 2025 |
