Richmond Neighborhood Restoration is excited to announce our next open house at The Hill House.
Located at 2237 East Main Street! This home is RNR's 5th residential property and we could not be more excited to show this project off to our community. 2237 East Main Street was named "Wayne County's Ugliest Home" in the late 1990's and the work this house needed was significant, including a new roof, HVAC, plumbing, restored hardwood floors, and a complete overhaul of the kitchen (not to mention the extensive cleanout process). RNR selected this house at the beginning of 2020, saving it from the Blight Elimination Program. This house is one of the first homes guests see when they enter Richmond from interstate 70 and travel into our downtown area. RNR has worked diligently to bring this project to a close and has experienced many construction issues along the way, not to mention a global pandemic. All of these problems makes celebrating the Open House even more special for our organization! Join us for our Open House fundraiser on May 16th from 5-7pm. Guests will get a tour of the house, enjoy appetizers and wine from The Downtown Deli. Tickets are available now! |
